Evviva Cucina in Westford, Mass provides a nice lunch getaway from the city where you can indulge in a pizza style called "La Montanara." Before adding their toppings, they flash fry the dough, resulting in a pizza crust that is chewy, crisp, and sweet.

Two things that I am personally not a fan of are pork and barbecue sauce. Imagine my surprise when I found myself enjoying pulled pork sandwiches! This Porco Sandwich was the perfect balance for me because I got to experiment with pulled pork without the traditional barbecue sauce seasoning. The tender pork went great with the peppery sauce and cheese.

When at Italian eateries, cannolis and tiramisu anything are a must! Evviva Cucina did not fail to have either of these desserts. The ricotta cheese in the cannoli was less sweet and more cheesy than I'm used to eating but it was enjoyable nonetheless. The tiramisu gelato had strong espresso flavors that made it the perfect end to my lunch.
Overall, the vibe of the restaurant is super inviting. I loved how all the natural light poured in over the large bar that wrapped around their pizza oven. Evviva Cucina sits in the Cornerstone Square Shopping Center so if you're living in Boston and looking to get away from the city, I would definitely make an afternoon out of it and check this place out!
