black is the new black.

February has almost come and gone and the winter is showing no signs of letting up. This year, I decided to invest in some winter-friendly black basics. Dressing in head to toe black comes in handy when you're trying to look chic while staying warm.

I've also been experimenting with mixing gold and silver jewelry. This is something that I've struggled with having an eye for in the past. For anyone interested in mixing their metals, an all black outfit is a great blank canvas for trying different combinations.

This winter, this sweater and jeans combo has gotten me through meetings at work, coffee chats, and late nights with friends - versatility at its finest. Black will always be the new black.
